Blooming Friday - Diamonds are not forever

Welcome to Blooming Friday! You'll find the easy rules here.
The theme of this week is perhaps a little trickier - Diamonds are not for ever - so it's going to more exciting than usual to find out how you would interpret the theme. Take some new shots or search your archives...here we go! - Real diamonds are said to last forever, but those that only exist for a couple of hours should not be despised. Take a look at this Mallow - and see how it sparkles...

Glöm inte besöka varandra! Nästa veckas tema blir 'Det är kärlek i luften'. - Trevlig helg!

Donät forget to visit each other! The theme of next week will be 'Love is in the air'. - Have a great weekend!

Blooming Friday - Fungus

Welcome to Blooming Friday! The theme of the week is 'fungus'. How would you like to interpret this theme? Take a shot or search your archives...

The first thing that comes to my mind is all the mushrooms that grow in our woods after this rainy summer. Here's a small catch from a walk in the woods yesterday:

But then there's also a bad side of fungus. All those diseases that can affect our gardens - not the least our beloved roses. Louise Odier is still blooming, but here foliage is badly affected by the black spot disease.

If you would like to participate in Blooming Fridays you'll find some information here.

Silence is golden

Allt gott!

Dear blogging friends! I'm taking a needed break from blogging. Maybe I'll be back again soon - until then: take care of yourself!

August

Astilbe

Allium cepa

Aster divaricatus

Clematis stans

Middle of August and I'm at work again. The garden is filled with late summer flowers and the evenings are getting dark around nine. It's a nice month - with a sense of calm...

To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.
