This November has been unusaully gray and rainy. There aren't very many plants in bloom, but some rose shrubs actually continue producing flowers. Roses make me so happy! And the modern, remountant rose shrubs are fantastic! The growing season can be extended to around six months! Those shots were taken today:

The old, historic roses are of course also divine! They're often low maintenance shrubs with beautiful roses with a lovely scent. I've got some old, once-flowering roses as well, and I wouldn't like to be without them either.
Then of course there are some old roses which bloom during the whole season from spring right until the frost puts an end to it. Like for instance this amazing rose which I photographed today, November 15:

If you haven't got this shrub in your garden - and if you have room and can grow it - then buy it! I don't thin you'll regret it.
