Thankful Thursday - Cherishing autumn

Ännu en solig höstdag! Jag njuter av varje dag...Trädgårdens grönska börjar så sakteliga övergå i gult och rött och luften är härligt hög.

Another sunny day of autumn! I cherish each day...The colours of the garden are slowly changing from green to yellow and red and the air is wonderfully crisp.

Alldeles nyss satt jag fikade i solen tillsammans med min dotter, innan hon skulle börja förbereda sig för kvällens festligheter. Kanske var det sista gången för i år som vi satt där på trappen och njöt i solen? - Vilken pessimist jag är!

A moment ago, me and my daughter were having a coffee outside in the sun, before she had to go and prepare herself for the festivities tonight. Maybe it was the last time this year that we could sit outside, enjoying the sun? - What a pessimist I am!

Den ljuvliga rugosahybriden Kamtschatka däremot, är en riktig optimist! Hon fortsätter att sätta knopp och att blomma. Vilken lycka!

On the other hand, the wonderful rugosa hybrid Kamtschatka is a real optimist! She continues to bud and to bloom. What a joy!

Your autumn garden looks so beautiful and the optimistic Rose has not yet said goodbye to summer.

There's a whisper down the field where the year has shot her yield, / And the ricks stand grey to the sun, / Singing: - `Over then, come over, for the bee has quit the clover, / And your English summer's done'.
”Enjoy Katarina! Your summer is not yet done the optimistic rose is still blooming.

Never a pessimist, Katarina, quite the opposite. You always bring a smile to my face :) with your delightful posts. I also love the sun and often ride in winter with my sunroof open. Happy weekend!

I can almost feel the coziness in the air. I too long for those wonderful autumn afternoons, lit up by nature's very own fireworks, but I believe in a week or so, this will only be another memory.

Not sure if you got the comment I just sent or not. Blogger seemed to freeze up for a moment. Maybe the cold is taking hold of it too! Anyway, thanks for the reminder about cherishing family time.

A beautiful day in Autumn is especially treasured, knowing that they are a bonus to enjoy, and will not last. They are particularly memorable, like the last flowers.

Ja det gäller ju att ta vara på dagarna.
Kul att se lite miljöbilder från din trädgård.
Jag är ju så himla nyfiken hur du har plats till de växter du har visat.
Hoppas att du får sitta på trappan en gång till.
Ha det gott
Annika

Autumn is so inviting. It's a reminder of our family gathering soon for the up coming holidays.
Your roses inspire me.

Hello Katarina,
very nice pictures and your roses are still in bloom. In fall, we cherish our last flowers. Very soon snow will cover the garden, giving us time to reflect and cherish the beautiful summer month.
- Cheers Gisela
