The Swedish elections are over. We are many who feel like we lost. But the work against xenophobia continues.
Rasism existerar fortfarande. Men det är upp till oss att förbereda våra barn för vad de måste möta, och, förhoppningsvis, kommer vi att segra.

Yes -will people never learn? We watched the elections in Sweden with concern and cannot believe the outcome...Don't we all share the same world?
We sent our children to an International school were they mingle with children from 130 countries and nationality,race or religion are never a question.
You are right . We have to stand up against xenophobia.
I am sorry you are disappointed in the outcome of your elections, but though I don't know the details, I suspect there is something to do with Muslims in Sweden regarding this event. If that is the case, I would strongly suggest the following books: While Europe Slept by Bruce Bawer, and Infidel by Aayan Hirsi Ali. Both are written by people who lived in your beautiful country, and Ali of course is a woman who came there from a Muslim country. I do not think what is happening is xenophobia, but a reaction to an invasion. God bless you for being so open-minded and loving all people.
